At Ashcroft we recognise that our ambition to stand out from the crowd can only be realised by the people in the Ashcroft team, the investment we make in our talent, and the culture we nurture in the organisation. And each member of our team stands out too – because we recognise everyone for their individual strengths and unique contribution to delivering a first-class service to our clients.
We have the most talented and passionate people in our team: everyone shares a passion for our clients, who stimulate and stretch us. We think our clients are great people, with great businesses, doing the most interesting work (not least because we’ve had a hand in choosing them!).
We set the highest possible professional standards, and maintain an informal, but challenging environment to enable the whole team to contribute to the success of our clients, our own business as well as everyone’s career. We make significant investment in the training and personal development of every team member to keep our people as motivated and effective as possible. We know too, that our focus on providing our clients with the best advisory services, and not just compliance, makes a difference. It guarantees that the training and experience our team acquire is the most stimulating and complete it can be.
We also work hard to ensure our culture is an accurate reflection of, and enabler for, the business’s vision: our talented, diverse team also shares a set of commonly-held values.
We work together in an open and communicative way that ensures we maximise our collective genius for the benefit of our clients, whilst challenging each other to contribute our best every day.

What our people say
We have successful clients who are growing and changing and therefore we get to do interesting work. There are opportunities to go out of our comfort zones and get involved in new and different specialisms. There is also a strong culture of working together to ensure that clients are served well whilst staff are supported to give them a good work-life balance.
Going to work has become a completely different experience since working at Ashcroft. Each day brings something new and my colleagues and I are continuously developing our skills. My peers inspire and encourage me to be better each day. We have a great team of knowledgeable professionals in which there is potential to learn a great deal from.
Working at Ashcroft means I get to work with people with high expectations – of what we can deliver for our clients and what we can contribute as individuals. Good ideas and positive challenges are welcomed, and we are all encouraged to continue to grow our skills.
As my first job in the industry, Ashcroft has made me feel very comfortable in my role and given me lots of support with on the job training. Furthermore, I enjoy working within my team in providing a fantastic professional service for our clients. I look forward to my career progressing with Ashcroft.
Working at Ashcroft is a perfect cocktail. The work I do is always engaging: a wide variety of clients and an opportunity to taste all aspects of an accounting practice. While there are different departments within Ashcroft, it feels like one big family, there to support one another and make coming to work easy.
When I was looking to change my job last year, the role at Ashcroft was just what I’d been searching for. A friendly, supportive community of like-minded individuals who like to deliver a quality service, but also recognise the benefit of a healthy, happy workforce.
When you have extremely talented people who are fun to be with, time just flies.
I joined Ashcroft at the beginning of Lockdown, worried about how this was going to turn out: I had nothing to worry about! From day 1 the team made me feel at home and were all very welcoming. I’ve enjoyed every day working here and have loved getting involved with all things Ashcroft!
I’ve worked with the people of Ashcroft for many years and the reason I stay is simple – they’re like family. We provide the best possible service to our clients, but we also form great friendships and can have fun together – vital for a place where you spend so much time.
I was apprehensive about becoming an accountant, that the “boring” stereotype was true, but my experience at Ashcroft has certainly proven that wrong. Working here means working with interesting colleagues, who attract exciting clients and thought-provoking work.
Our people
We’re always keen to talk to smart, ambitious people about the possibility of joining us at Ashcroft. We’re looking for highly talented, team players who are great with people, and above all interested in making a difference to our clients and their businesses.
The remuneration package you’ll receive at Ashcroft is different from – and we think better than – most Accountancy and Professional Services businesses. We offer a competitive salary, good holiday, private healthcare and all the other benefits you’d expect and deserve because of who you are and what you offer. However, the real difference in our remuneration package is to be found in how you’ll grow as a professional, and the culture that you’ll experience and be part of at Ashcroft: in the same way that we choose our clients carefully, so too the Ashcroft team is chosen carefully.
We are a friendly, hard-working bunch, striving to keep a feeling of family as we grow. If you think we might be the right firm for you (and you might be right for us), please get in touch.
